Formal announcement about introduction of the first-ever Bangladeshi movie in-flight entertainment program of any foreign airline (Emirates). The first movie was ‘Noy Nombor Bipod Shongket’ directed by renowned novelist, dramatist, screenwriter, and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed. The director of the movie Humayun Ahmed along with Faridur Reza Sagar, Managing Director (producer), Impress Telefilm Ltd.; Hanif Zakaria, Emirates Area Manager Bangladesh; and Kazi Wahidul Alam, Managing Director, Interface Communication (content supplier) at the announcement ceremony at the then Sheraton Dhaka on November 30, 2007

Emirates for the first time included popular TV reality game show Krishoker Eid Ananda in August 2022 cycle of their in-flight program. Renowned media personality Shykh Seraj,Director and Host of the show, Mohamed Alhammadi, Emirates Area Manager Bangladesh, and Kazi Wahidul Alam, Managing Director, Interface Communication making the formal announcement at a press meet held at Channel i studio on August 28,2022. First issue of the ‘Welcome Bangladesh’, bi-lingual in-flight magazine of defunct United Airways BD Ltd. was formally launched at a ceremony held on August 18,2010. Welcome Bangladesh was the first ever in-flight magazine by any private sector airline in Bangladesh. Interface Communications was entrusted with the responsibly to develop content for the magazine and publish it on a regular basis. Senior management officials from the airline and publisher are seen displaying the in-flight magazine copies.
